Quirky Crafts Challenge 7 - Its Sketchy

Challenge time again....cant believe how fast it comes around. I am sorting out my craftroom at the moment, it is in a terrible mess and I am climbing over boxes etc just to get to the computer. I have agreed to swoop rooms so that my Son can have more space. He is very into his computers and his bedroom really isn't big enough for him and his kit.....so he is now having my craftroom /office as an adjoining space for him to spread into, and I am trying to relocated to the old dining room. This is not going to be easy!!!
Anyway, you don't want to know all this I am sure....
This is my interpretation of the sketch set by our Lyn over at Quirky Crafts this weekend....

I have used Shery K papers (my favorite at the moment). The lacy mat is cut from a file shared by Monica's Garden, and of course the image is supplied by our sponsor this challenge....Bugaboo. Love their stuff!
Come an join us on the challenge...

Quirky Crafts Challenge - 6 A Recipe For A Special Lady

Hello all,

Well another two weeks have flown by and we at Challenge launch time again at Quirky Crafts Challenge Blog.
The challenge this time, set by Caro, is a recipe for a special lady. She is looking for a card created for a special lady in your life (so it doesn't have to be your Mum)....but it MUST HAVE

Circles, Flowers and gems/pearls
If you are going to join in the challenge, and we would love you to, please make sure you read the challenge theme and also the challenge entry rules in the side bar, otherwise your entry may not be considered for the prize.
Our sponsor for this challenge is The Cutting Cafe, and they have offered a prize to the winner of this challenge of a choice of 3 digistamps.

Here is my offering:-
There is a bit of a story behind this one. This card will be a Mothers Day card for my Mother in Law. She is in her 80's now, but hates to be indoors. She insists on going out every day, and insists on having a cup of tea absolutely everywhere she goes, even if it is just 5 mins down the road from her house! So when I saw the Tea Time digital stamp set, I just had to use it. I enlarged the stamps slightly to fit the scale of my card. The papers are from Shery K Designs. My images are coloured with promarkers and 3d on the card. I have a  ribbon element , the small bow near the sentiment and also a plaited ribbon strip behind my flowers, which were made with a spellbinders die and have gems in the centre. I have a circular element in the backing paper design and also I have used faux brads (Card Candy) on the tea cup border.

I hope you like it and please come visit the challenge blog to see the other design team examples.
