AAARRGH...a virus!!!

Had a bit of a scare yesterday. My main computer went on the blink. Didn't seem to want to power up past the initial windows screen....just went black. All sorts of things ran through my mind, but mostly that I hadn't backed up for a month or two. Managed to sort it out in the end when I found that a virus had attacked it. Having cleaned it the machine now seems to be fine (phew!)...needless to say I am now in the middle of a massive back up!

Be warned all you crafters out there....BACK UP!!!!

Masquerade 18th Birthday

I was asked to produce a card for a young ladies 18th birthday. She is celebrating with a Masquerade Ball, so what better than a Masquerade Mask.....

A photo of a mask for sale on a well known auction site was the inspiration for this. The main mask shape was created using Funtime and cut on my beloved gazelle. The best thing is that the mask is life sized, so if she wants to she can use it at the ball!

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mums out there

If any of you are interested in Jennie Bean's Designs she has a new CD launching on Monday at 9am on Create and Craft.....tune in and see what you think!

Graduation card

Just finished this for a very good friend of mine who has a son graduating from Oxford University very soon. I decided on a stubby diamond card, using the diamond top for a mortar board. I then decided that if I used a stiff paper I would be able to make the base section of the card look like the graduation gown draping. I added a frilly shirt effect and of course the obligatory diploma scroll! I found the perfect verse here , a really useful site for the perfect inside verse. Hope Mel likes it!!
