Hi everyone, still not up to crafting yet I am afraid....well not strictly true, I had to make a card yesterday for my best friends birthday. I sat at my desk for ages and nothing happened. Not and idea, no inspiration at all. I eventually put a card together, which was horrible (she loved it, but I didn't). It wasn't my normal standard and did nothing for me at all, and I forgot to take a picture too. Or maybe it was a subconscious thing....I don't know.
Sorry nothing to show you, will try to do better.
Please pop along to the stamping ground to see some much more interesting Wednesday Desks.

Your mojo will come back soon I am sure. Your friend will be pleased to receive a card, it's the thought that counts. Have a lovely day, Tracy Evans x

ReplyDeleteI am sure it was lovely ... I hope your MOJO comes home from his holiday soon X
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeletewe all get times like that, im sure your mojo will return, us crafters are far to critical of what we do, have great day, sue,x
Just had a snoop down a bit further. Is it still from when you were poorly? I hope you start to feel better soon and that your crafting Mojo comes thundering back with a veangeance. It's horrible when you've been ill and it wipes you out a bit. Takes a while to get going again. Take it easy - don't force it and it will come when you least expect it :)
ReplyDeleteohooo dear dear, stand inthe corner Diane!! Hope you're feeling better have a good WOYWW anyway!!
ReplyDelete((Lyn))

ReplyDeleteWe all know days like those. Good your friend liked it. Now you don't have to see it anymore. LOL

Mine has been on holiday for weeks and then poped back this week .... I'm sure yours will be back soon but I know what you mean about having to create when nothing is there ...dont tell anyone but I bought a card for a recent birthday .... shhhhhhh.
ReplyDeleteI have only just got mine back after a long break lol & hugs Liz
ReplyDeleteOh hun I've only just got my mojo back & not running on all cylinders yet! Looking forward to popping back though when you among us again!! Helen x (if I spy yours I'll send it over!!)
ReplyDeleteWe all have days like that, and I am sure the card you made was not as bad as you thought - we all tend to be our own worst critics! Hope you find your mojo again soon.
ReplyDeleteAaawwwh, you need a tonic, probably in the form of a good spend at a craft shop!
ReplyDeletewe all know how you feel, hope you feel up to it soon and that mojo turns up.
ReplyDeleteTracey
I hope you'll soon be feeling more your old self Diane. It's not nice having to struggle for inspiration is it. I'm sure it will strike very soon!
ReplyDeleteChrissie
I'm utterly in agreement with Carmen - that old mojo, when you're worn out and low - bloody thing scarpers. It'll be back, just tootle about and ignore him for a while. Then you'll have a prolific season and be all ahead and we'll all be horribly jealous!
ReplyDeleteHope you get your mojo back soon,We can all sympathise mine has just returned after 3 week think it went on summer hols.Mind whilst away did manage to colour some images in for when my mojo returned .So have a try may find helps wee bit!
ReplyDeleteHope it returns soon hugs judex
don't worry, it'll be back and sometimes making something else helps. have you tried making artist trading cards? they are so small, you can use all sorts of scraps.
ReplyDeleteHave a feeling it's the Mojos annual holiday this week. Lets hope they return very soon.
ReplyDeleteA x
Mojo schmojo. Watch crappy pop culture movies, eat junk food, read a trashy true crime and say bad words. It will come back later, and if it doesn't? Who gives a crap - you'll have discovered comfy-livin'...which decidedly has something to be said for it.
ReplyDeleteAmy
Hey take a happy break and gear up for a better day. Glad you dropped everyone a note.
ReplyDeleteIt'll happen. I have found you can't force it. Happy belated WOYWW, anyway.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, it is a pest when the old Mojo disappears.. I have a great tempter to get it back..when mine goes off on it's hols, I go back to basics, make a really simple card with simple embellies etc ... and then grab my favest stamps and make a tag or ATC... try it... hope it helps :O))
ReplyDeleteaww don't feel bad! It happens to the best of us I'm afraid! xx
