WOYWW 208

It was lovely to be back last week for WOYWW, thank you to those who sent messages and visited. I tried to visit as many as I possibly could.
This week finds me up to my neck in Male cards, not my favourite to do. This time of year in our family it is all male birthdays, even my Niece in law who is due in a few weeks is going to have a boy!
Here's the desk....
I am just finishing of the guitar card for a cousin of mine who has a birthday soon. I found my Fiskars cutter when I was moving some stuff around at the weekend. I shifted everything to make room for my Husband to run a cable to connect me to the internet directly as I will get a much faster speed that way, only to find that he then didn't have a drill bit big enough to complete the job...grrr! but at least I found my cutter. I remember stashing it away when the blade went dull. I bought some blades but they were the wrong ones, they were Docraft ones so I assumed they wouldn't fit, but guess what....they do!
I am busy downloading a paper pack from Far Far Hill who have fantastic freebie papers etc, although the download is a pain as you can only do one per half hour. I tend to have it running in the background while I craft if there s something I need. Can you see my Maggie under the desk? Her favourite place when I am crafting.
Head over to The Stamping Ground to show us your craft space. It is fun to have a nosey around....

  2. Lovely desk, not too neat and tidy to terrify a messy sod like me, but easy to sit down and work at. Perfect! Glad the new blades fitted.

    Happy anniversary,

  4. It’s amazing that the internet can bring together so many likeminded people and I’m grateful that WOYWW has also brought along so many new friends, thanks to Julia.

Great desk this week. Cards for the men folk are always difficult, so I really feel for you having to work on them.

Enjoy your Wednesday snooping on this very special Day
    Happy Crafting!

  5. Ah Diane, one job leads to another huh..wrong size drill bits o not long enough wires, something we encounter a lot! I sympathise but am sneakily a bit glad that I don't have the make card situation to face - go you!

  6. I'm still impressed with your craft space, because of those two monitors and the storage space.

And Bleubeard is jealous because he's not allowed in my crafting areas, like Maggie.

    Happy WOYWW4 from # 17.

  7. Oh my, that sounds familiar... most of the DIY jobs I ask my husband to do seem to take a long time and a lot of tools... easier to do it myself with a kitchen knife and my blade!! ;) Your desk looks beautifully organised, good luck with the male cards... they really are the hardest ones!! 8. I love looking at everyone's desktop workspaces. Yours is enviable for your storage bins and fancy monitors. (Love the pup under the table!)
And on top of that I get ideas for layouts etc...

  12. I'm getting to like 'male' cards as I've made a few lately! Love the guitar card. Two screens? One is bad enough! LOL! Karen 106 x

  13. I enjoy downloading from Far Far Hill as well! Yes, it is a pain, but her freebies are awesome! I think male oriented cards are the hardest of all to make! Love yours! Thank you for sharing your workspace with us! (no blog, just an amazed desk surfer!)
