Where has the time gone!</div><div><br /></div><div>I fell out of love with blogging, does anyone still do it? I have no idea if anyone will even see this post!</div><div><br /></div><div>Oh well, never mind. I just thought I would post some pics of cards made recently. I had stopped crafting for pleasure, more or less. Just making cards as and when I needed to send one, not much fun in that really, just get one done an sent. Since lock down began my neighbour and her friend have been raising money for the local children's hospice as their fund raising has been so terribly hit. They are both sewers. I dabble with sewing, knitting, everything really, but papercrafts are my favourite, so I thought I might be able to help them out. I donated some cards and gift boxes and notepads, and I made some frames too. They seemed to be quite popular, but it also served to get me back into making things for the pleasure of it, not just out of necessity. I have almost forgotten how to post pictures......</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0b4MPCDVqbY/YABfEB3mN-I/AAAAAAAAETI/hTx1AixCme0_ejSAQQnetr5DBXP3BYeLwCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/DSCN0599%255B1%255D.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; Following on from my last post, the football card I made was really well received, which has led to a similar further request. This one is for an older lad, still Saints mad, so I tweaked the idea and came up with this....<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tRZshcqb6Cw/W2AeZsbB2xI/AAAAAAAACoQ/zZLPrIjrGpoExHQMmW3Ssv6BRsy2lie1wCLcBGAs/s1600/DSCN0536.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tRZshcqb6Cw/W2AeZsbB2xI/AAAAAAAACoQ/zZLPrIjrGpoExHQMmW3Ssv6BRsy2lie1wCLcBGAs/s320/DSCN0536.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QyJymjcd3LI/W2AeZmGkpmI/AAAAAAAACoU/jXHzxmK_ia8I6h9jVsXVgXFPFhb6AorlwCLcBGAs/s1600/DSCN0537.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QyJymjcd3LI/W2AeZmGkpmI/AAAAAAAACoU/jXHzxmK_ia8I6h9jVsXVgXFPFhb6AorlwCLcBGAs/s320/DSCN0537.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

Hopefully that one will be equally well received.</div>

My long time friend has a birthday this week too. We met many years ago when our boys started school and have been friends ever since. He is what I made for her...</div>

Hope she likes it too.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

That's all for now</div>

I was asked to make a card for a football mad 8 year old by the name of Riley. My brief was that he was a Saints (Southampton Football Club) fan, was especially interested in the Goalkeeper, and loved football.<br />
He is what I came up with...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-o0tNGfX1sMM/WxeaZWW1WZI/AAAAAAAACkg/RPTdRi4phd4UF56mEWgdKazmn29Xj24dwCLcBGAs/s1600/DSCN0412.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-o0tNGfX1sMM/WxeaZWW1WZI/AAAAAAAACkg/RPTdRi4phd4UF56mEWgdKazmn29Xj24dwCLcBGAs/s320/DSCN0412.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_i3R9yDdyzY/WxeYJdmWW3I/AAAAAAAACkY/cVUGiqbEvjEHewmwYvLx3fO9fVP0DdSGwCEwYBhgL/s1600/DSCN0411.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_i3R9yDdyzY/WxeYJdmWW3I/AAAAAAAACkY/cVUGiqbEvjEHewmwYvLx3fO9fVP0DdSGwCEwYBhgL/s320/DSCN0411.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I chose a pull up card. Haven't done one of these cards for ages, but it was a really good shape to work with for this design. The goalpost and the footballer etc were files from the Silhouette store. The Pull up card was a template I made a cutting file for ages ago. The |Saints Club Badge came from Google, along with the shirt designs which I resized in Silhouette to fit my little men. Riley's birthday is still a few weeks away, but I hope he will like it. His Gran was thrilled to bits with it, so that's good.<br />
'till next time...<br />
<br />

<span style="color: #000032;">Wow, I didn't realise how long it has been since I blogged anything. I have lost my way with this a bit. Perhaps, although I have still been making things, I didn't think them important enough to share, I don't know. That has changed now.</span><br />
<span style="color: #000050;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: navy;">A couple few weeks ago we had some very good news. My Daughter's Partner of 4 years asked my Husband if he could marry Jenny. Dead old fashioned I know, but really lovely and thoughtful. Of course blessing was given immediately. We both think the world of John and he has felt one of our family for a long time now. We had to keep this secret from my Daughter for 6 WHOLE WEEKS!!!</span><br />
<span style="color: #000012;">I got to help John choose a ring, which was lovely, but the engagement was a surprise for Jenny for their fourth anniversary, which just happened to me on both my Son's and My birthday. Our family is rubbish at spreading celebrations around as not only are our birthdays the same but also my Son's Partner and my Husband share a birthday!</span><br />
<span style="color: #000018;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #000024;">The engaged couple have jumped straight into making plans and the first thing they wanted was cards to ask their intended Bridemaids and Groomsmen if they were up for the task. These are based on ideas they saw on Pinterest.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kUGu_z4LBiY/WuBSFdTTRCI/AAAAAAAACgU/gFnszhJlOUwM6pZIYuJxfrlj06F7iRERgCLcBGAs/s1600/DSCN0410.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kUGu_z4LBiY/WuBSFdTTRCI/AAAAAAAACgU/gFnszhJlOUwM6pZIYuJxfrlj06F7iRERgCLcBGAs/s320/DSCN0410.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
I also made them this frame to celebrate the day. They love gaming, in the traditional sense, so this seemed appropriate.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nzDuBGP31eo/WuBS78CBXZI/AAAAAAAACgg/bonItjaWjtUEQNAtSJV8V6nmKTGbqn-mQCLcBGAs/s1600/DSCN0409.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nzDuBGP31eo/WuBS78CBXZI/AAAAAAAACgg/bonItjaWjtUEQNAtSJV8V6nmKTGbqn-mQCLcBGAs/s320/DSCN0409.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I will try to be a more attentive blogger....</div>

I have been asked to help out with a couple of cards for someone special. This special lady is about to have her 102nd birthday...yes 102nd!!!<br />
<br />
Just imagine what changes she has seen in her lifetime!<br />
<br />
With the onset of age it is perhaps not at all surprising that her eyesight is not what it once was, so my brief was NO PASTELS, favourite colour blue....<br />
<br />
I have enjoyed creating these cards because the brief of NO PASTELS has forced me to use colours that I perhaps wouldn't normally have turned to. I quite like the results and I very much hope that she can see the details well enough to like them too.<br />

We seem to have way too many birthdays etc in June for our family....I struggle to keep up really.<br />
This post is for My Husbands Birthday and also his great nephew's birthday.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bWRwAhKJwCs/WUekP4xHhaI/AAAAAAAACH8/f1L4-RyMaDkSYoRm3UiuvibPqgiuBLnPACEwYBhgL/s1600/DSCN0230.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bWRwAhKJwCs/WUekP4xHhaI/AAAAAAAACH8/f1L4-RyMaDkSYoRm3UiuvibPqgiuBLnPACEwYBhgL/s320/DSCN0230.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
This is the card for Kevin's birthday. I usually theme the card to match in with the present, but this year he is having a new wedding ring as the original is too small, and a bread-making cookery course. Neither of which lent themselves too readily to a card them...so I hope he will like this one. Made using Stampin Up wood planks embossing folder which gives a really deep impression and also using their Nailed It stamp set and dies.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kQCkcLhRyZs/WUelu93zD3I/AAAAAAAACIE/cHngQ_i1sHMsSBWScUekbXjV47diviZvwCLcBGAs/s1600/DSCN0231.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kQCkcLhRyZs/WUelu93zD3I/AAAAAAAACIE/cHngQ_i1sHMsSBWScUekbXjV47diviZvwCLcBGAs/s320/DSCN0231.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
This card is for Thomas. The dog's face is decoupaged to give dimension. This is really a box card from Hunky Dory. I like the images used for the animals in the kit, but when made as intended the boxes are a bit underwhelming in my opinion, so I adapted it.<br />
See you again soon!<br />

Next week is my Husbands Birthday and also, on the same day, my Son's Partner has a birthday. She likes anything Oriental, so that was obviously my theme, but I wanted it to be modern. The lady on the card is decoupaged to add dimension, which doesn't show very clearly here. The image came from Crafters Companion Kimono CD.</div>

It's Jane's turn to set the challenge them today, and she has chosen Quirky Things With Wings.<br />
We are being sponsored for this challenge by <a href="http://limitedrunsstamps.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Limited Runs Digital Stamps</a> and <a href="https://bugaboostamps.com/" target="_blank">Bugaboo Digital Stamps.</a><br />
<br />
My first make is using <a href="http://limitedrunsstamps.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Mini%20Birds" target="_blank">MiniBirdsCake4</a> from Limited Runs. I thought this was a great image for cards for young and old, boy and girl. Coloured with Specrum Noir pens.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bzucTNGUbjM/WS1A5aXZVZI/AAAAAAAABjc/LcKT3293oHgUuTrOaBznTeKnippgTJTNQCLcB/s1600/DSCN0225.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bzucTNGUbjM/WS1A5aXZVZI/AAAAAAAABjc/LcKT3293oHgUuTrOaBznTeKnippgTJTNQCLcB/s320/DSCN0225.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
My second card is made using <a href="https://bugaboostamps.com/collections/birds/products/bugbirdtriosummer-bird-trio-summer" target="_blank">BirdTrioSummer</a> from Bugaboo Stamps. This is a very Quirky Bird image and I love it! I collected together my chosen pens to colour the image....and realised that the file also comes with a pre coloured image. That used all the colours I had chosen so I used the pre coloured image. I took it into Craft Artist, resized and printed several copies. A bit of cutting and matting later and I think I have a really "happy" card. Would be good for Birthday, Get Well, Thank you...anything really.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ctvLnEGGY1k/WS1Cy4_KGLI/AAAAAAAABjo/bnHxZYKZyDAJIzfdz1SWNLvFfDLV3v_SwCLcB/s1600/DSCN0223.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ctvLnEGGY1k/WS1Cy4_KGLI/AAAAAAAABjo/bnHxZYKZyDAJIzfdz1SWNLvFfDLV3v_SwCLcB/s320/DSCN0223.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
If you have an idea for a Quirky Thing With Wings project come to the challenge blog, upload your project, and let us all have a look. You might win some images from our sponsors.<br />

I just want to remind you of my challenge which is half way through on Quirky Craft Challenge Blog. This means you only have two weeks left to link your creations inspired by a favourite song. Click <a href="http://quirkycrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/may-challenge-going-for-quirky-song.html" target="_blank">here</a> to see the original post and challenge and sponsor details.<br />
Using a digi chosen from our second sponsor <a href="https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/NewDeliciousDoodles" target="_blank">Delicious Doodles</a> I have made a twist and pop card. I love doing this shape card. As soon as I saw the lovely Iris image on the Delicious Doodles site I was immediately reminded of many a day playing in my Auntie's garden when I was small. Only a small garden, but she always had lots of Iris plants underneath her lounge window. I loved them and have Iris in my garden now because of that memory. Hope you like the card.<br />

<br />
I am quite excited because it is my first change to choose the theme for the next challenge since rejoining the Design Team. I wanted to come up with something that would get you all thinking, so I would like you to show us your creations that have been inspired by your favourite songs.<br />
<br />
As usual we have some sponsors for the theme...which means there are prizes to be won, so head on over to the <a href="http://quirkycrafts.blogspot.co.uk/" target="_blank">Quirky Crafts Challenge Blog</a> to find out what you can win.<br />
<br />
Our sponsors are <a href="http://www.ikesart.com/" target="_blank">Ike's Art Digital Designs</a> and <a href="https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/NewDeliciousDoodles" target="_blank">Delicious Doodles</a>, both of them have some beautiful designs to choose from. <br />
<br />
My first record choice was easy for me, it has been one of my favourites for years. When I was expecting my first child Simply Red released a song called "For Your Babies". When my daughter was born, just after the song was released, I used to sing her to sleep with this......I am surprised she turned out so normal come to think of it!<br />
Looking through the designer's websites to choose an image to work with, this lovely image from Ike's Art leapt out at me and reminded me of that song. Hope you like it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Check out the challenge blog and see what the other design team members chose to work with and why....you could even enter something and win!<br />

Apologies to anyone who checked in here yesterday when the post should have gone live.....BLOGGER STRIKES AGAIN. I had typed the post and scheduled it, but Blogger just published a blank page! Helpful!<br />
<br />
Anyway here is my mid challenge make. Coloured with a trim noir and using a Pink Petticoat paper for background, this is an inmate from the Animals and Insects set from the <a href="http://www.thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/" target="_blank">Cutting Cafe</a> used last time.....love these cute images.<br />

We have <a href="http://www.thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/" target="_blank">The Cutting Café</a> as sponsor this challenge and the theme has been set by Tinz, she has chosen Quirky Pets. There was so much to choose from on The Cutting Café site that I am not sure how she managed to come to a decision choice at all!<br />
<br />
From Tinz's choice I have selected some one of the images from the animals and bugs set...they are all so cute. I decided to make a door hanging for a child. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Xibpj_XbJEY/WNzWMFx0KxI/AAAAAAAABLA/kNuv-Lo1RBsmm-kzEr01YqA4iVfWgzBWACLcB/s1600/DSCN0218.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Xibpj_XbJEY/WNzWMFx0KxI/AAAAAAAABLA/kNuv-Lo1RBsmm-kzEr01YqA4iVfWgzBWACLcB/s320/DSCN0218.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I designed a box frame sized to suit using Silhouette Studio and cut the pieces using my Cameo. I also made the lettering that way. </div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I took the image I had chosen into Craft Artist, resized it and printed multiple copies which I then cut out using my Scan and Cut.</div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I coloured the images using LePlume pens and decoupaged them up to give dimension.</div>

I have done the usual present and card thing, but thought I would do something extra this year. I am into bookfolding (my latest craze) so I thought I would do one for Mum. It is safe to post because she doesn't have any access to the internet at all.</div>

This is not quite finished as I am waiting for some lovely brass book corners to arrive from Ebay. I hope they get here before Sunday. Then I just need to cello-wrap the book and I am done.</div>

<br />
Just a couple of birthdays cards to show you. The first is for my Sister-in-Law, who is into her sewing so this Lori Whitlock file was perfect.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gmuT0xwHLDQ/WMvJ1V8fPcI/AAAAAAAABIs/sIq2Y-GOKvgKsE2kJw9-jbxQbciztP37wCKgB/s1600/IMG_0079.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gmuT0xwHLDQ/WMvJ1V8fPcI/AAAAAAAABIs/sIq2Y-GOKvgKsE2kJw9-jbxQbciztP37wCKgB/s320/IMG_0079.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The second is for a friend who has a birthday very soon. This uses the Bloom With Hope stamp set from Stampin-Up.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fEHLF-h3CVI/WMvKKEMnrEI/AAAAAAAABIw/izdBcfjXyDIT5ad1jageX-PBXli-NDbewCKgB/s1600/IMG_0080.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fEHLF-h3CVI/WMvKKEMnrEI/AAAAAAAABIw/izdBcfjXyDIT5ad1jageX-PBXli-NDbewCKgB/s320/IMG_0080.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

After being a member of the team for quite a while illness, and life in general, got in the way and I had to step down. But now the challenge blog is returning and I am back on the team. ( doing a happy dance here while I type).<br />
<br />
Cazzy set the first challenge and I was stumped straight away. She decided to make the challenge "Use a photo"...<br />
What's the big deal about that? Well as someone who HATES having their photo taken I rarely take photos myself...so if I have to choose a favourite photo I don't have many to choose from.<br />
It just happened that the setting of this challenge coincided with the anniversary of my lovely Maggie passing, and I cherish every photo I have of her....so that was it, decision made.<br />
We need to use a digi image from <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/" target="_blank">Bugaboo</a> who are co sponsors of the challenge, along with <a href="https://www.craftyribbons.com/" target="_blank">Crafty Ribbons</a>. I chose to work with <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/Flower-Tags--Tag-1_p_656.html" target="_blank">Flower Tag 1</a>. I took the image into Craft Artist, recoloured it and turned it into an intelligent frame so I could snap my photo behind it. Hope you like...<br />

I have been told recently (twice, actually....and by the same person) that I am a "pants Blogger"....do you know what? She is absolutely right! I am a pants Blogger. I used to be good, back when I had design team commitments to fulfill. Perhaps I ought to try to get back into a Design Team??<br />
<br />
Anyway, after my Friends (?) comments I thought I really ought to have a catch up on here. So what have I been doing?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xPFCTYWRvFk/V9qttBxQhKI/AAAAAAAAA9w/KaywH4fr1m0rUfUKwacRO4l_OaE10nOwwCLcB/s1600/DSCN0185.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xPFCTYWRvFk/V9qttBxQhKI/AAAAAAAAA9w/KaywH4fr1m0rUfUKwacRO4l_OaE10nOwwCLcB/s320/DSCN0185.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
My Daughters Friends have just had their second child together, a baby girl called Rae. This is a quick shot of the High Chair I made for my daughter to give to them. I made a moses basket for their last baby, so had to do something different this time.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cokL85m3vW0/V9qttA-YnqI/AAAAAAAAA9s/zpH5H2_TiucbrAkgSldqFBB4eIWLeWkbwCEw/s1600/DSCN0186.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cokL85m3vW0/V9qttA-YnqI/AAAAAAAAA9s/zpH5H2_TiucbrAkgSldqFBB4eIWLeWkbwCEw/s320/DSCN0186.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
My Daughter's partner's Brother (hope you followed that) has just got married and this is the card I made for them to give. I really like this card design.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mZFlg0vkbpk/V9qttL2CEsI/AAAAAAAAA90/aoWR59dEwgUwGiHJXGcJRYM2Haj8TGUzgCEw/s1600/DSCN0187.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mZFlg0vkbpk/V9qttL2CEsI/AAAAAAAAA90/aoWR59dEwgUwGiHJXGcJRYM2Haj8TGUzgCEw/s320/DSCN0187.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Our Niece is one today, and now the day has come I can post this picture. I don't think the family read the blog, but I didn't want to chance it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I have spent any spare time over the last couple of days playing with my new love...my Altenew stamps. I just love how these stamps layer up. I am a Stampin Up fan, and love their two step stamps, but these take the idea a stage further, and the effect is lovely. I have tried several different ways to try to line the stamps up correctly....it can be a bit tricky to get the positioning just right. The best way for me is to use an acrylic block (even though I usually use the Misty). Trouble is I have twice dropped the block whilst trying to twist and turn it to line up the layer stamps resulting in having to start again with that panel. I am waiting for some little acrylic handle to arrive and I will hot glue them to my acrylic blocks to help with my problem. I wasn't aware that I had a problem with my grip...but I obviously have! I love this card shape too. I saw it on Dawns Stampin Thoughts and just had to have a go. A cutting file makes the job much easier though!<br />
Well that's me all caught up (Karen!!).<br />

<div>
Hello Dear Reader,<br />
<br />
I was pottering around at my craft desk and realised that not only had I forgotten to photograph some of my recent makes, but also that those I had photographed I had forgotten to post! I am useless!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5EdAdg6QyeA/V2uwrHJQWtI/AAAAAAAAA5E/uMmPytA-AKocyJFnNBl741OBd6Agqx48wCLcB/s1600/DSCN0173.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5EdAdg6QyeA/V2uwrHJQWtI/AAAAAAAAA5E/uMmPytA-AKocyJFnNBl741OBd6Agqx48wCLcB/s320/DSCN0173.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I was asked for a first birthday card and couldn't wait to use this new tonic die that I had purchased..</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
so cute!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LL3GrFG2YhA/V2uwrQe79JI/AAAAAAAAA5I/e6WcAKZvBNMs-OJbpVsOnJFVRWYXO0QOACKgB/s1600/DSCN0174.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LL3GrFG2YhA/V2uwrQe79JI/AAAAAAAAA5I/e6WcAKZvBNMs-OJbpVsOnJFVRWYXO0QOACKgB/s320/DSCN0174.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A Graduation card for my Son's Girlfriend, who's graduation ceremony is actually today. She did really well and he is very proud of her.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-28YhwPlHZls/V2uwrKNdbTI/AAAAAAAAA5s/YLnKMypTFK4MCALxAeUYtAcXjGN6A0s7QCKgB/s1600/DSCN0175.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-28YhwPlHZls/V2uwrKNdbTI/AAAAAAAAA5s/YLnKMypTFK4MCALxAeUYtAcXjGN6A0s7QCKgB/s320/DSCN0175.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A really busy time for her because in addition to graduation today, yesterday was her birthday. As they have just spend three weeks in Japan I decided a fan was in order.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IFzVFbWiCP4/V2uwsiAw5EI/AAAAAAAAA5s/b8RhkqvH04Iw-H5n3okv0aD902W--gH8gCKgB/s1600/DSCN0177.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IFzVFbWiCP4/V2uwsiAw5EI/AAAAAAAAA5s/b8RhkqvH04Iw-H5n3okv0aD902W--gH8gCKgB/s320/DSCN0177.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On to My Husbands Birthday now, which was also yesterday. He has hit the big 60...but I am not teasing him as I am acutely aware that I am not that far behind him!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-C5QFouK-53E/V2uwsPbvc7I/AAAAAAAAA5s/o25Mp4CVnPEt6OGBPWtORqgsXNv-37UWQCKgB/s1600/DSCN0176.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-C5QFouK-53E/V2uwsPbvc7I/AAAAAAAAA5s/o25Mp4CVnPEt6OGBPWtORqgsXNv-37UWQCKgB/s320/DSCN0176.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Kevin is very difficult to buy for, but he suggested that he might like to improve his cookery skills, so we have bought him a cookery course. I made this stand up chef's hat to house the voucher for the cookery course booking. Made from a file on the Silhouette Store. Made into a top fold card before cutting and then I added the utensils.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Right, I think that's me caught up!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div>
Ok this post is scheduled because I can't run the risk of him seeing this before his birthday tomorrow.....and as it is my Birthday too I hope I will have better things to do, no offence intended dear reader!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So what do you get the Son who has everything and when asked what he would like says "nothing I need really!"</div>
<div>
answer</div>
<div>
Sky diving vouchers! no, I am not deliberately trying to put him in danger or get rid of him.....these are for the indoor skydiving tunnels, which looks fun! But being his 21st I would quite liked to have been able to buy him something that he could keep. I decided to make him a keepsake instead. Dan is a big DC Fan and also really likes Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones, so I took my inspiration from that knowledge and....<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s4EXesWGAkQ/VwTUuYpLEoI/AAAAAAAAA40/Fhn3Fmx-jrUs_48J54E3N9RBkq8Bs3vfg/s1600/DSCN0171.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s4EXesWGAkQ/VwTUuYpLEoI/AAAAAAAAA40/Fhn3Fmx-jrUs_48J54E3N9RBkq8Bs3vfg/s320/DSCN0171.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
came up with this. A folded book for the 21st part. Covered with a Game of Thrones map with Game Of Thrones ribbon around it. Couldn't really see him appreciating flowers etc, so went with ivy and fir cones to decorate and then added some Game Of Thrones memorabilia including a book mark, compass and what I am informed is a family medal which has Winter is Coming on it....I know absolutely nothing about Game of Thrones, but I know this must be right as he has a T shirt with that on it, so I am on safe ground there....I hope!</div>

<u><span style="color: #0066cc;"><br /></span></u></div>
<div>
I received a phone call yesterday with, I think, the most bizarre request for a card that I have received to date.......wait for it.....</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
"Can you please do me a Congratulations for learning to swim card?"</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
ok, never done one of those before!!!</div>
<div>
here is what I came up with...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rm8NJazv1Lk/VwTS6GABLdI/AAAAAAAAA4o/6A0g_OAgrfU5WgXmP0-E2yqql-w7mUAiA/s1600/DSCN0172.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rm8NJazv1Lk/VwTS6GABLdI/AAAAAAAAA4o/6A0g_OAgrfU5WgXmP0-E2yqql-w7mUAiA/s320/DSCN0172.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I found this adorable image on a site called Tiddly Inks.com. Just what I needed. Card shape and mats and lettering designed and cut on my Cameo.</div>
<div>
<u><span style="color: #0066cc;"><br /></span></u></div>

Just a quick post to show you the Valentines Card I have just made. This is actually from a free file from<a href="http://www.birdscards.com/"> Bird's Cards</a>. The file was, I think, intended to be a shaker card, but I have changed it a bit. I decided to cut extra heart, L,V and E pieces. I sandwiched them together to make chipboard style letters, topped them with backing paper and nestled them into the original cuts in the card front. I also used a second cut of the front to make an inside decoration.<br />

<br />
I promised myself to make an effort this week...so here I am again. Two posts in one week!<br />
<br />
<br />
My first offering in this post is a quick card I made today for my little cousins birthday next week. Because I needed to get it done quickly I used my Silhouette subscription to download the file for the following card. I think he will love it. The papers were printed at home from kits designed by Summertime Designs.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5JN6wWamW-Q/VrS5uhBjowI/AAAAAAAAA30/si-iusmT-l8/s1600/DSCN0163.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5JN6wWamW-Q/VrS5uhBjowI/AAAAAAAAA30/si-iusmT-l8/s320/DSCN0163.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
My second offering today fulfills my intention to make myself get back into my crafting and blogging. I have been following the MoJo Monday blog for years and often use one of the layouts for a starting point inspiration, but I have never completed the current challenge...until now. This is being entered into MoJo Monday challenge number 433, you can find the challenge <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.co.uk/">here.</a><br />
<br />
<br />
A lovely blogging acquaintance of mine, also called Diane, was kind enough to email me this week. She decided to check up on me because I hadn't been visible online for a while. Wasn't that jolly nice and caring of her? It was much appreciated.<br />
Di has a blog called <a href="http://pixiescraftyworkshop.blogspot.co.uk/">Pixies Crafty Workshop</a>. She has a weekly "playground" where pupils can link cards made from snippits, you know....all that stuff we all save 'incase it is useful'. Well the following card was made with everything from my scrap box except the base card and the stamped image.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="border-image: none;">
Anyone There???</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
Quite possibly not as I am such a bad, bad blogger!</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
Well, if there is anyone there I thought you might like to see a couple of things I have managed to do.</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
This was my Christmas Card for my Mum this year. I am hooked on Stampin Up stuff and have built quite a collection over the last year. I normally do a standard card for everyone I send to and then something more individual to Parents. As we lost both Kev's Mum and Dad during the year it is just My Mum left now. Christmas was a bit sad for My Hubby!</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-74K0LZSNVwk/Vq8pFfFFSuI/AAAAAAAAA3g/z3oqDirJTLQ/s1600/DSCN0148.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-74K0LZSNVwk/Vq8pFfFFSuI/AAAAAAAAA3g/z3oqDirJTLQ/s320/DSCN0148.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
I also had a couple of birthdays to make for around Christmas.</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VuwKlyd7SYo/Vq8pFTWIuAI/AAAAAAAAA3k/dux4gCBvL5I/s1600/DSCN0149.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VuwKlyd7SYo/Vq8pFTWIuAI/AAAAAAAAA3k/dux4gCBvL5I/s320/DSCN0149.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lKRxDT8-S3Y/Vq8pFFbo9aI/AAAAAAAAA3Y/HpCpR7eAPFs/s1600/DSCN0150.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-lKRxDT8-S3Y/Vq8pFFbo9aI/AAAAAAAAA3Y/HpCpR7eAPFs/s320/DSCN0150.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
Once Christmas was out of the way I couldn't face the craft room at all. I really need something to kick start me again, because when I actually get to it I feel much better and actually enjoy myself, so I don't understand why I am finding it so hard to get going nowadays!</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
I wanted to do something different.....so.......</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AqqVa9qNs0Y/Vq8pGTl9x2I/AAAAAAAAA3o/D_Px51xfNFE/s1600/DSCN0155.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AqqVa9qNs0Y/Vq8pGTl9x2I/AAAAAAAAA3o/D_Px51xfNFE/s320/DSCN0155.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
My first ever folded book. Loved doing it too!</div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>
<div style="border-image: none;">
<br /></div>

My Mum wanted a card for her sister so I came up with this one.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JQVKibQh5SE/Vh9c59p8z_I/AAAAAAAAA2w/N6kfIUIFZ9A/s1600/P1010825.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JQVKibQh5SE/Vh9c59p8z_I/AAAAAAAAA2w/N6kfIUIFZ9A/s320/P1010825.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I made the background paper from a free font download from Hungry Jpeg...some very interesting font bundles on their site.<br />
<br />
My card to her is a simple one. I used my favourite stamp set from Stampin Up, Lotus Blossom. This stamp set was the first I purchased from Stampin Up. I have spent quite a lot on Stampin Up stuff since, but I love it all.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HGze0OINSPo/Vh9c57OdhZI/AAAAAAAAA20/0guTmd1qe7M/s1600/P1010826.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HGze0OINSPo/Vh9c57OdhZI/AAAAAAAAA20/0guTmd1qe7M/s320/P1010826.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

We know it is to be a girl, so I am being very organised and making the card ready to post.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DJ4WVeAHK-g/VfltB7MYEbI/AAAAAAAAA2c/mrBAUlbNpUk/s1600/P1010824.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DJ4WVeAHK-g/VfltB7MYEbI/AAAAAAAAA2c/mrBAUlbNpUk/s320/P1010824.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The pink background came from my scrap box, originally printed from free kit I found online. The pink glitter backing circle was also from by scraps box. The image is from Digistamp Boutique, coloured with specrum noir pens. The white border cut with a docrafts die. The sentiment was from Stampin Up.<br />
<br />
Fingers crossed for a safe delivery. Hope she likes the card.....<br />

<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Following all the upset around here since January I have been really struggling to craft. I have managed to pull together a few birthday cards for Family etc....well enough to avoid having to actually buy a card in a shop (then I would really know I was in trouble). Trouble is my MoJo, as they say, has gone....not lacking....completely gone. I have come into my craft room many times over the past few weeks, determined to make something, I have shuffled some stuff around, tidied up a bit, tried to organise something, and on the odd occasion, started making something. Usually the "something" has ended up in the bin and I have walked out again having achieved absolutely nothing.</div>
<div>
Well...ENOUGH!</div>
<div>
I've had ENOUGH!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
We don't have a large family, well not that we have much contact with anyway, which means there is not a huge need for cards to make me produce something. So what's a girl to do?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I have decided that to make me get back into this wonderful hobby I need to find a reason to make. My Daughter and her partner, and soon my Son as well, work for a wonderful local company who seem to do a lot to raise monies for charities in the area. They often have raffles, so I decided to make some card sets to donate to their raffles as prizes. This is my first one. I struggled a bit to begin with, but by the end I was actually starting to have fun. I thought I had better show them, so here they are. Not my best maybe, but a reasonable start on my way back. </div>
